The official Twitter account of Chainsaw Man announced that the series’ own emojis with Pochita are now available on the platform to commemorate the anime’s broadcast. The emojis called hashflags appear at the end of certain hashtags. The first episode will broadcast today, on October 11.
“Chainsaw Devil” Pochita looks like a four-legged animal combined with the machine like the iconic chainsaw bar with chains on the head, who lives with the series’ protagonist Denji, a Devil Hunter.
Depending on the Twitter hashtags, there are two types of the hashflags for the character, one looking to the upper right, and the other facing to the left with a smile. It seems with Japanese texts show the first one, and with Latin characters comes the latter. The hashtags are as follows:
- #チェンソーマン (Chainsaw Man – the series’ name)
- #デンジ (Denji – the protagonist’s name)
- #ジャンププラス (Jump Plus – Shueisha’s online manga service)
- #KICKBACK_米津玄師 (KICKBACK Kenshi Yonezu – the opening theme song and the performer)
- #チェンソーマン見放題最速配信 (Chainsaw Man the fastest streaming with unlimited viewing)
- #chainsawman
- #denji
- #pochita
- #makima
- #devilhunter
