Mob Psycho 100 III premiered last week and now a preview for episode 2 is here. The second episode of the final season will air on Wednesday, October 12. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The official website describes the plot of the episode as:
Mob is busy preparing for a cultural festival that is in two weeks. Serizawa, on the other hand, has made up his mind and plans to attend a night school. At the same time, a man appears at the spirit counseling center. He is Haruaki Amakusa, a self-proclaimed yokai hunter. He asks for help in defeating the demons that lurk in this world, the Hyakki. Reigen feels that the man’s appearance and the content of his story are suspicious, but when he hears the amount of the reward offered by Amakusa, he becomes excited and decides to go with him on his quest to exterminate the demons. Reigen and his friends are skeptical, but when they arrive at an abandoned building, a powerful yokai appears…!
Season 3 of Mob Psycho 100 is directed by Takahiro Hasui and animated by studio BONES. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of the series composition, with Yoshimichi Kameda once again doing character designs. Kenji Kawai is composing the music. According to studio Bones president Masahiko Minami, this season won’t contain CGI and will be entirely hand-drawn. The theme songs are “1” (opening) and “Cobalt” by MOB CHOIR.
