The official website of the rom-com Uzaki-chan season 2 has released a preview for episode 3. The episode will focus on the school festival and, as usual, Sakurai decides to stay indoors and play video games where Uzaki happily accompanies him. However, their gaming session is short-lived as Sakaki tells them about the events that are going to happen. The third episode airs on Saturday, October 15 and it will be available outside Japan on Crunchyroll and Bilibili.

Studio ENGI is in charge of the production of the series with Kazura Miura as the director. Aoshima Takashi is writing the scripts and Manabu Kurihara is the character designer. The main cast of the anime includes Naomi Ozora and Kenji Akabane as Hana Uzaki and Shinichi Sakurai.
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is based on a manga by Take. It has been serialized on NicoNico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English and they describe the story:
Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
