Chainsaw Man’s Aki Hayakawa is gracing the covers of the upcoming issue of Magazine House’s weekly female fashion magazine an an. Studio MAPPA is behind the illustrations which are featured on both the front and the back overs of the issue’s special edition. The front cover is in color, while the back is black and white.
The newly-released cover illustration shows the male devil hunter without his iconic hairdo. Holding a cigarette in his mouth, he is lighting it with a lighter, and the fire is the only source of light that illuminates the dark place he is in.
In the Chainsaw Man anime, Shogo Sakata is voicing Aki Hayakawa. The seiyuu reacted to the visual on Twitter:
“AAAAAAAKI-KUUUUUNNN!!!!!!! WHOAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!“
The magazine’s issue features current trends of 2022 and also compiles interviews with three cast members of the anime, Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Tomori Kusunoki (Makima), and Shogo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa).
