The upcoming Black Clover mobile game, The Opening of Fate, has been delayed to the first half of 2023 from the previously scheduled 2022. The message about the delay was given by the CEO of VIC GAME STUDIOS, where the game is being developed, Choi Jae-young. In the video, Choi states that the team is working hard on the game and that BETA testing in certain regions will begin soon.
Black Clover: The Opening of Fate is an RPG game that features characters from the manga and anime series. The designs are similar to those in anime. Judging from the trailer we’ll be able to play with some of our favorite characters, including Asta, Yuno, Noelle, Yami, Luck, Manga, Julius, and more. Check out the taser trailer:
Black Clover is a manga by Yuki Tabata. It started serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015 and currently has 33 volumes out. An anime by studio Pierrot aired from 2017 to 2021 and ended with 170 episodes. The same studio is also working on the upcoming movie, titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. The movie is premiering in March of next year and Netflix will stream it worldwide.
Viz Media licensed the manga in English and describes the plot as:
Young Asta was born with no magic ability in a world where magic is everything. In order to prove his strength and keep a promise with his friend, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the land, the Wizard King!
