Mob Psycho 100 revealed a preview for episode 5 of the third season. The episode will air on Wednesday, November 2 and will showcase Mob’s battle against the mysterious Psycho Helmet. The official website describes the plot of the episode as:
Teru waits for Mob as he enters the inside of the sacred tree. Mob is forced to silence Teru, who has been completely brainwashed and has become a pawn of the Psycho Helmet. At last, the Psycho Helmet appears in front of Mob, and it is none other than Ekubo. With the power of the divine tree in him, Ekubo takes on Mob. In a heated battle, Ekubo’s full-throttle blow hits Mob. Seeing his school uniform torn to pieces, Ekubo shouts a shocking word!

Studio BONES is animating the third season of the Mob Psycho 100 anime. Takahiro Hasui is directing, with Hiroshi Seko in charge of the series composition and Yoshimichi Kameda once again on character designs. Kenji Kawai is composing the music. The theme songs are “1” (opening) and “Cobalt” (ending) by MOB CHOIR. Previous episode also featured a special ending “exist” also performed by MOB CHOIR (which includes sajou no hana).
