Chainsaw Man episode 12 airs later today, and the preview video and images for the finale have been released. Studio MAPPA is in charge of the production. The preview images are available on the official website. while you can watch the preview video below:
The anime also revealed character trailers ahead of the finale. Aki Hayakawa, Himeno, Kobeni Higashiyama, Pochita, Power and Makima all received one.
The anime is listed with 12 different ending theme songs, with each episode getting a new one from a different artist. Last week’s episode had a song performed by QUEEN BEE titled “Violence”, while the final episode will have EVE perform its ending. Kenshi Yonezu is performing the opening theme song “KICK BACK”. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
Denji is a young boy who works as a Devil Hunter with the “Chainsaw Devil” Pochita. One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed. As he was losing his consciousness, he made a deal with Pochita, and got resurrected as the “Chainsaw Man”: the owner of the Devil’s heart.
