Gen Urobuchi’s upcoming original anime Revenger revealed the main visual ahead of January 5 premiere date. Studio Ajia-do is animating the series. The story is an original work by Urobuchi; he is also writing the scripts and is in charge of the series composition. Renji Oki is also credited as a scriptwriter.
Masaya Fujimori is directing the anime, with Yuji Hosogoe on character designs. Hosogoe is also a chief animation director along with Emiko Endo and Yuki Nishioka. Jun Futamata is composing the music. Maaya Sakamoto is singing the ending theme song, titled “un_mute.” A short clip for it was revealed:
Before the main visual, Revenger revealed a series of short character trailers and three main trailers over the previous weeks. The cast includes:
- Raizo Kurima: Jun Kasama
- Yuen Usui: Yuichiro Umehara
- Teppa Murakami: Shunsuke Takeuchi
- Nio: Hisako Kanemoto
- Soji: Shota Hayama
