The series’ second part is being published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump +. The series surpassed 16 million circulating copies with the 12th volume’s release on October 4. The anime adaptation was chosen as Anime Corner’s most anticipated Anime of Fall 2022 by fans, and the anime also won the Google Search Awards 2022 in the Anime category.
Viz Media licensed the manga for English releases and describes the plot of the first volume as:
Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
