Play It Cool, Guys revealed a new trailer and a key visual ahead of the January 9 continuation of the anime. Studio Pierrot is animating the adaptation of Kokone Nata’s manga which has been airing since October. Each episode is around 15 minutes long.
“Warau na!” by syudou is going to be the opening theme song for the second cour. Kon Chiaki is directing the anime, while Eri Taguchi is doing character designs. Makoto Uezu is in charge of the series composition. Masato Nakayama is composing music. The main includes:
- Koki Uchiyama as Shun Futami
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Hayate Ichikura
- Shoya Chiba as Soma Shiki
- Yuichiro Umehara as Takayuki Mima
Play It Cool, Guys (Cool Doji Danshi) manga has been serialized since 2018. Yen Press licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
Enter: a group of cool guys who seem like they’ve got that unapproachable swag. But look closer and you’ll find a bunch of dorks who’ve gotten the act down pat. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy watching these clumsy dudes try to look cool all day, every day.
