Aggretsuko Season 5 revealed a trailer ahead of the February 16 premiere. The fifth and final season of the anime that follows an overworked salary woman will be streaming on Netflix.
Netflix describes the plot of the 5th season as:
The “Aggretsuko” series depicts the daily life of officer worker Retsuko, who copes with her frustrations with her boss, co-workers and the world by belting out death metal. In this season, after Haida quits his job, he is forced out of his apartment that is owned by his parents and begins living in an internet café. There, he encounters Shikabane, someone who seems to have given up on everything. Retsuko decides to live with Haida to save him. Then, a suspicious man who says he is member of the Diet comes to recruit Retsuko…
We first met Aggretsuko (Aggressive Retsuko) in the spring of 2018, when the first season of the relatable series dropped. The second followed a year later in 2019. Season 3 came was released in 2020, while the fourth came in December 2021. The franchise also had a Christmas special in 2018. All of these are available on Netflix. The anime also has a web anime, that aired from 2016 to 2018. The anime had 100 1-minute episodes.
