Upcoming The iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE anime revealed that the premiere date of the TV anime is in October this year. Prior to the TV broadcast, the anime will be split into 3 parts for theatrical pre-screening in Japan starting in August. A theatrical visual and teaser trailer was also released. The anime’s prologue image song titled “Seven Count” can be heard in the trailer.
Studio Shirogumi is animating the series under the direction of Shinya Watada. Yoichi Kato is writing the scripts and music label company Lantis is handling the music for the series. Tetsuya Ishii and Kaori Tsuta are doing the character designs. The main cast includes Haruka Yamazaki as Mirai Kasuga, Azusa Tadokoro as Shizuka Mogami, and Machico as Tsubasa Ibuki. The iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE anime previously announced a teaser preview and visual and a fall 2023 premiere date.
The iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! is a spin-off of The iDOLM@STER game series developed by Namco Bandai Games. The TV anime is based on a game with the same title which was launched in 2013 and closed down its servers in March 2018. A year before the service ended, Bandai Namco Entertainment launched a successor to the game titled The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days.
