The preview for episode 2 of Trigun Stampede anime has been released. The next episode will air on January 14 at 23:00 (JST). CGI studio Orange is animating the series, under Kenji Muto’s direction.
As Jeneora Rock learns about Vash’s large $6,000,000 bounty on his head, its residents chase him in order to be rewarded the bounty. This is despite the fact that he had saved the town from the July Military Police.
Left with no choice, Vash escapes the city alongside his new friends: reporters Meryl Stryfe and Robert de Niro. They are also chased by criminals Gofsef and Nebraska, but then decide to head to Jeneora Rock and steal the town’s PLANT, an inter-dimensional being that is tapped as a source of power and energy. Realizing their intentions, Vash heads back to the town again.

Trigun Stampede is based on the Trigun manga series by Yasuhiro Nightow, which was serialized on the Monthly Shonen Captain from April 1995 to January 1997, and then moved to Young King OURs, where it stayed from October 1997 to March 2007. It received an anime adaptation by Madhouse that is composed of twenty-six episodes. It aired from April to September 1998. It also received an anime film adaptation titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble in 2010.
