The previously announced new anime for Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki has been confirmed to be a season 2 with a new special trailer, and it was also announced that it will have a total of 13 episodes. The full title is Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki 2nd STAGE, and you can watch the new trailer:

Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki is a Japanese light novel series by Yuki Yaku. Shogakukan has been serializing it since May 2016, with 10 compilation volumes published as of January 2022. Yen Press licensed it in English. Square Enix also published a manga adaptation from December 2017 to February 2021, which has a total of 6 volumes.
The light novel received an anime adaptation by studio Project No. 9, which ran for a total of 12 episodes. Two OVAs also aired in May and June 2021. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season and OVAs, and they describe the story:
