The Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury 2 has revealed a teaser visual for the upcoming second cour on Friday. The teaser visual features Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran with Suletta’s Gundam Aerial right behind them. The series is scheduled to premiere in April this year.
The first episode premiered in October 2022 and the anime aired until December with a total of 12 episodes. Sunrise is producing the series under Hiroshi Kobayashi’s direction with scripts written by Ichiro Okuchi. Marie Tagashira, Hirotoshi Takaya, and Juri Toida are designing the characters while Takasi Omama is composing the music. Kana Ichinose is voicing Suletta Mercury while Lynn is playing the role of Miorine Rembran. The series previously released short trailers ahead of the release of the first volume for the Blu-ray (BD) special limited edition and DVD products.
Crunchyroll and Ani-One Asia are streaming the anime and the former describes the plot as follows:
A.S. (Ad Stella) 122― An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system. A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart, this girl walks step by step through a new world.
