The "Boruto: Two Blue Vortex" serial has started, exploring the post-time-skip adventures of Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki, and their friends. The completion of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generation," which ran 80 chapters and saw Naruto step away from the spotlight, ushers in a new era.
"Boruto" carries on the heritage established by Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto serial. The original manga made its debut in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in September 1999, and readers were enthralled by it for 15 years, through 72 volumes, until November 2014. With a 220 episode run beginning in October 2002, Studio Pierrot's animated rendition brought the tale to life. The story developed into the sequel "Naruto Shippuden," which ran for 500 episodes.
The Boruto manga, which was originally written by Ukyo Kodachi, then adopted by Masashi Kishimoto, and enhanced with drawings by Mikio Ikimoto, is also being adapted by Studio Pierrot. The manga moved to V Jump in 2019 after debuting in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016. The "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" anime started airing in April 2017, mirroring its manga counterpart. Although there was a break in the anime in March, fans may look forward to new episodes in September.
