Trivia

- The hentai was animated by Studio9MAiami and directed by Katsuma Kanazawa.
- Itazura The Animation is part of a large eroge franchise developed by INTERHEART.
- In the eroge Itazura 0 -Zero-, Honda Souichirou, the father of Honda Katsuhiko (the protagonist of Itazura The Animation), makes his first appearance.
- Unlike the animated version, the original game’s story follows Takahashi Shunsuke, a pseudonym used by Honda Souichirou, a man whose life was destroyed after being falsely accused of sexual harassment by three women. Although his innocence was eventually proven and he was released, the damage had already been done. Consumed by resentment, he decides to take revenge on the women who ruined his life.
- In 2005, the year Itazura The Animation premiered, Arms Studio was going through one of its worst periods due to low sales of its hentai productions. In particular, Hininden: Gauss performed so poorly that the production of its second OVA was canceled. This crisis led the studio to abandon the adult genre and shift its focus to producing mainstream anime.
- On April 25, 2006, Kitty Media released G-Spot Express, an uncensored and English-dubbed version of Itazura The Animation. In addition to its English release, the title was also officially launched in Germany and the Netherlands.
- Además de su versión inglesa, el hentai también fue lanzado en Alemania y en los Países Bajos.
- Today, Itazura The Animation is considered a cult classic in the chikan genre. Despite the controversy surrounding its theme, many regard it as the best hentai of its kind, praised for its storytelling, unique atmosphere, and lasting impact on the community.
