Origin

The adult anime is based on Kedamono-tachi no Sumu Ie de ~Daikirai na Saitei Kazoku to Kanojo to no Netorare Doukyo Seikatsu~ [ケダモノ（家族）たちの住む家で～大嫌いな最低家族と彼女との寝取られ同居生活～], an eroge produced by Pin-Point and released on May 2, 2014.

The Media Bank company, under their Gold Bear label, released its first episode on April 24, 2015. Its animated version concluded on November 20 of the same year with two episodes.

Story

Arata Asaoka lives with his despicable, chauvinist father and older brother. Arata is an illegitimate child so he has always been treated as such. One day he met a girl who gave him hope. Being with her made Arata feel good, and he fell in love. He began to believe that his life could be better. However, his father and brother have other plans.

Reception

Kedamono-tachi no Sumu Ie de was one of the best-selling hentai titles of 2015 in Japan, largely thanks to its unique NTR story.

Overseas, it also received an excellent reception, standing out for its cruel plot and distinctive animation style.

Thanks to its success, this title is now considered one of the top NTR hentai of all time, and it continues to be fondly remembered by the genre’s most hardcore fans.

The hentai was animated by Anime Antenna Iinkai and directed by Teruaki Murakami.
Ruka Manome, the voice actress behind Koharu, is also well known for portraying several standout characters in adult anime. Among her most recognized roles are Sadako (Dai) from Toshi Densetsu Series, Megumi from Ecchi na Onee-chan ni Shiboraretai, and Makoto from Mako-chan Kaihatsu Nikki.
The eroge was illustrated by the acclaimed artist Hiromitsu Takeda.
Following the eroge’s release, a CG version was also made available.
